But the biggest crime of all is the way most of the media and the left pounced on the initial story. It absolutely stunk from the moment it hit the waves. It was so absurd that no self respecting journalist would or should have touched the story without grilling Smolett first.
He claimed an unknown liquid was poured on him but went home instead of to a hospital.
He left the noose on.
Those two items alone set off all sorts of alarm bells for me and for millions of other readers. But the left clown parade wanted this to be true. They wanted it so bad they closed their eyes and leaped to condemn the Trump deplorables.
They NEEDED this to be true after the beating they took on the phony Covington hate story.
