Visual humor, for a change! (Not great visual humor, mind you, but actually funny.) And no unneccesary breaking of the 4th wall, for a change. If these were the good ol’ days, when cartoons were allowed in posts, Eldo could’ve added a few cans (or cases!) of beer spread on the floor between Andy and the couch, and between Andy and Chalkie. (By the way, does Chalkie smell bad or something? Nobody is anywhere NEAR him at the bar!)
I remember an old classic by Reg Smythe where Andy is lying drunk on the floor and Flo says to Rube “e’ does ‘is level best t’ show me up, Rube. Look at that – odd socks!”
