Refusal to vaccinate one’s children puts children at risk and is CHILD ABUSE and should be prosecuted as such. It is abusive and life-threatening enough to put one’s own child at risk, but failure to vaccinate also puts at risk the tiny percentage of those who want to get vaccinated but can’t because they are infants who are too young, those with compromised immune systems (who can’t be vaccinated AND are especially susceptible to exposure) or other LEGITIMATE medical reasons.
Someone (or their heirs) who contracts a disease after exposure to a person who was unvaccinated without valid reason should be able to sue that person for all damages caused by their criminal negligence. (My state of California has now outlawed all “conscience” waivers from vaccinations and ONLY allows valid medical exemptions.)
if parents are stupid enough to not vaccinate, they should be required to home school their children, they should not be sending to school with our kids
