Hundreds of Catholic priests guilty of child rape?

And now the same thing in the Southern Baptist church?

All these Trump-loving religious CONservatives who scold everyone else?

Can you imagine what people would be calling for if they found 300 Imams of a Muslim sect had raped 1,000 children via a Muslim mosque in a single state?

Total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the country!

How about a total and complete shutdown of the Catholic child sex trafficking crime ring. Turns out the real child sex trafficking crime ring wasn’t Hillary in a D.C. pizzeria.

Phony, hypocritical “holier-than-thou” CONservative evangelical “Christians” — who always wag their fingers in everyone else’s noses have been exposed for the money-grubbing frauds they are — have officially relinquished any credibility on claiming to be the party of “family values” or the “moral majority” (they are neither moral nor the majority).

I USED to be a Southern Baptist… but about 50 years ago, at age 15, I realized it’s ALL based on a pile of hogwash, garbage, fantasies, fables and total lies, so I basically told the Church to Eff Off! I’m feeling MUCH better now, thanks!

Pope Francis has defrocked Theodore McCarrick, former cardinal of Washington. He’s also ousted many, many priests, and is now going after the big guys. Last I heard, Roy Moore wasn’t in any trouble with the Baptists.

It’s at times like this I turn to my favorite religious philosopher, George Carlin.

Had a Southern Baptist tell me one time that I was going to hell when I died for I was baptized as a child, therefore it was not meaningful to me and I didn’t understand what was going on because I was a baby. This was an employee of mine and when there were no customers in the store she would sit there reading her Bible. I later found out that when I wasn’t in the store, she’d tell people that she was the owner and was speaking to and making decisions when salespeople came into. I found that out one day when a salesperson came in and wanted to talk to the owner. Told him I was, and then was informed that I wasn’t the “owner” he had spoken to a couple days ago. At that point, she wasn’t an employee any longer. With Southern Baptist, it’s “do as I say, not as I do.”

No formal comparative study has ever broken down child sexual abuse by denomination, and only the Catholic Church has released detailed data about its own. But based on the surveys and studies conducted by different denominations over the past 30 years, experts who study child abuse say they see little reason to conclude that sexual abuse is mostly a Catholic issue. “We don’t see the Catholic Church as a hotbed of this or a place that has a bigger problem than anyone else,” said Ernie Allen, president of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. “I can tell you without hesitation that we have seen cases in many religious settings, from traveling evangelists to mainstream ministers to rabbis and others.”
