Some other things to note: the Britannic sank much faster than the Titanic did, and yet despite everything, only 30 people perished, while the rest of the Britannic’s crew of over a thousand escaped and survived. Part of this is simply due to difference in circumstances (the ship sank in much warmer waters than the Titanic), but other parts is due to changes made to the Britannic’s design and manner of operation after the Titanic sank, allowing for more lives to be saved. So even though the Britannic still sank, she still proved that key lessons were still learned from the Titanic disaster.
