OFFS… If you ARE in a merge lane, ie, the lane you’re in is ending ahead by merging into the lane next to it (as apposed to a lane that is ending ahead by exiting), ABSOLUTELY travel to the end of it before merging (unless traffic is light). A zipper merge at the end of the lane is MUCH more efficient than cars randomly merging early, getting stuck between lanes and slowing both lanes down.
If you don’t ZIPPER MERGE, I will end you! People will find your body and say, “Dear lord! Was he a dick at merging? Probably, huh?”

“And, I’m also licensed to sell car insurance, but I’m afraid none of you will qualify for the reduced rates…”

Supposedly the European motorists’ rules of the road can be boiled down to:—
Green light: drive fast.Yellow light: driver faster.Red light: lean on horn.

What about the people who drive past the end, onto the shoulder, and then squeeze their way in?
