I will say this, whoever wrote that speech for him did a great job. Unfortunately, it doesn’t make him any less of a liar or criminal. Actions speak louder that words.

It’s almost funny the way that he “Bragged” that “There are now more Women in Congress then ever before” without either mentioning or even realizing that they are almost ALL DEMOCRATS!

Well of course he wants all those “partisan probes” to stop – they keep indicting and convicting his “best people.” As it is, most of the White House staff is only “acting [job title].”

WHAT?? No emergency?

It’s all about him standing there behind the podium and all those people sitting facing him as he does all the talking.

I was wowed by:

The speech writers

The fact that he mostly stayed on script

I was considerably less wowed by any feeling that he’ll do anything useful. Though I have to admit that the sentencing reform shocked the heck out of me, so maybe, maybe… (probably not).

I saw Spike Lee on the Late Show last night. Apparently, Spike doesn’t refer to Trump by name. He does have a nickname for him: Agent Orange. I know many who are suffering from the poison used in Vietnam called Agent Orange. Meanwhile, they also have this other embodiment of AO, unfortunately.

Never before have I heard a President’s SOTU address wherein the POTUS expressed the opinion that, had he not been elected we’d be at war with another country (particularly in the age of nuclear weaponry).

When I grow up I want to be just like Nancy Pelosi.
