Nice of Lester to deflect/distract from purpose of most Democratic Senators and Congressmen’s trip to Puerto Rico — to see the failures of #45’s administration’s handling of the aftermath of Hurricane Maria first-hand.
Give it up Mike. We already know that The Rump was hunkered down in the White House for show. I especially like the part where he tried to look presidential by signing a stack of blank papers and lying about them being new legislation. What a moron and by extension….
This Puerto Rican caucus meets just about every year. Where was Mitch over the weekend? He is the one who is afraid to put the CR on the floor because he knows Trump will veto it or refuse to sign. He is trumps lackey. There are enough votes to override should that happen.
I’m sure the voters in Kentucky and Republicans everywhere, see what has become of their leadership. The Republican party has sold its soul. It will take a very long time to overcome what has happened in the last two years. We really need at least two viable political parties to keep our democratic process on an even keel. McConnell has made the Legislative branch irrelevant.
Trump and Putin are now able to operate with impunity.
Maybe Lester ought to wonder why the Republican Senators aren’t there. Because they aren’t interested, they don’t care, about the issues of non-white Americans who can’t vote for them.
Build That Wall…… Around Puerto Rico!!!! We will get rid of those immigrants and have the place full of Real Americans faster than you can say God Bless ’merica
They weren’t there to party on the beach. They were holding a fundraiser for Puerto Rico recovery. Which wouldn’t be necessary if Trump had given Puerto Rico aid after a disaster. Like a REAL President would.
But really – writing your cartoon on the basis of the lies that come out of Sarah Huckabee Sanders mouth? You have no original ideas of your own?

Has any Democrat in the delegation actually been spotted on the beach in a swimsuit with an umbrella drink? Please advise.

Meanwhile, Don Donald went to the Big Easy for the beginning week of Carnival, and got cake.

The Congresspeople in Puerto Rico must have been Democrats. The party of Trump wouldn’t be caught dead in the ‘poor side of town’.

Did Mike comment when Chris Christie went to the beach when he shut down NJ?

Of course, there are an equal number of Republican congressmen hanging out on beaches just now but we mustn’t talk about THEM.

Unless someone had an ultra high resolution copy of those photos, you’re not going to be able to zoom in and see any text on that document.
Is there any common sense left in the world?

Fat middle-aged men and older in speedos are funny. They are usually Germans though.

Mike, NOBODY in PR wears Speedos.
