Trivium: In the earliest days of the strip, Lucy was younger than Charlie Brown and Schroder was introduced as a pre-verbal toddler. Eventually all three were written as the same age, but Charlie Brown reading to the other two seems to echo when he was clearly the elder.
Interesting site, thank you. I have the 439th most common surname in the world which supports my contention that I don’t have a family tree, it’s more like ground cover…
I admire people who know marriage and love isn’t necessary to be happy. Too many stereotypes indicating you should be with someone. I’m looking at you Disney! And… well, pretty much every company!

Ironically, Lucy and Schroeder are going to have the exact opposite relationship!

While Ludwig himself never married and had children, are there any distant nephews/nieces and/or cousins today that still bear the Beethoven surname?

Hey. Kind of ironic. Lucy would marry Schroeder.

Given Lucy’s crush on Schroeder, she’s the LAST girl he should have said that to!!

I don’t read “You’re all alike” as “unwilling to marry”… I think the young misogynist meant it more like “cruel creatures who do not appreciate art.”

This strip is so ironic
