I once saw a five year old girl bouncing a ball against the floor and the wall, trying to get to one hundred bounces. She was counting "one (bounce) 2 (bounce) 3 (bounce)… twenty (bounce) one (bounce) twenty (bounce) two (bounce)… Even though her brother and I tried to point out her mistake, and that she had made it way past 100, she wouldn’t believe us and was really frustrated that she could only get up to about 70.

Now a child just scrolls her phone…..

Perhaps the musician should occupy Lucy’s mother while learning of the urgent need.
