Well-timed strip! State and Province championships for nearly all of the United States and Canada are this Saturday. And for the first time there’s substantial cash payouts for the highest finishes. Rhode Island’s players are competing for shares in a $507 prize pool this year.
(My wife and I are both scheduled to compete for Michigan’s championship, but it’ll take some luck for either of us to get past the first round. )
