“Nerd City Rejects.” That makes complete sense. They would not pass the minimum intelligence requirements to make “nerd”, so they should be rejected. Fortunately, Michael also says “roadkill” and “idiots”. I think “idiots” is the most accurate. Insert joke here about how it’s amazing that Michael ended up becoming a writer.
The final line is confusing. When did the girls recognize Michael only and not Gordon, the guy who wears that trucker hat constantly? Did I miss a comic strip?
In any case, the girls exited the locker room as a group, which is the safest way to leave when you have two guys rejected from Nerd City standing outside the door waiting for you to leave.
Nothing good about being mocked by the cheer leading team, except being acknowledged by them. I mean really, it is not that you know someone famous, it is significant that they know you.
This series brings back memories of my high school years, that’s for sure…One thing that reads true from some of the comments, is that the kids who reached their peak of being a somebody important in high school never surpassed that peak later on in life. I can’t think of anyone from those groups in my high school class who became even more important.
On the other hand, people who were in service clubs, or chemistry club, or chess club, ended up achieving world wide renown later or in life. I am proud to say that I graduated with some world famous people, although we didn’t know then that they would become that….

Golly, I see the girls laughing instead of showing emotional distress. That simply can’t be true, according to certain “theories”.

This is why I hated being in junior high and high school. Labeling is the worst.

Those girls are bound for great careers as dancers in the adult industry down the road!

They want cool guys that treat them like dirt. Never got that, but that’s the way it is.

Look on the bright side — maybe you’ll get invited to a “nerd party”.

The same Michael who got his head stuck in the girls’ shower hut is concerned about his reputation?
