Actually, even though everyone usually wants a big role, often times the small roles are nice because you’re still involved, yet there’s not nearly as much work. When showtime finally rolls around, you may be glad to only have a small part.

Big role. Needs two on a part, so there definitely will be someone to sing if one gets sick. Dividing the shows between them if no one’s sick. Easy.

This was done before when Heart lost a part in Wizard of Oz to Kat many years ago. Just do the audition.
