    I loved pounding chalkboard erasers for my mom, a first grade teacher in my school. She would save them for after the 3pm bell….just for me.

    Granny,you make me feel old.Didn’t have ink wells,but erasers,chalkboards,and the teachers pets bringing apples for teachers,I do remember ;)

    Actually, these days they don’t have whiteboards they have smartboards! They can not only “write” things on the board but they can also show videos and such on there too. I’m assuming they’re like huge tablets or something. My son has had one in every class since First Grade but I don’t think most of his teachers utilized them as much as they should since I’ve only seen one teacher of his actually use it while I happened to be there.
