British friends tell me that it’s far from certain that Brexit would pass today. It sounded like a good idea at the time, but in reality, it’s much harder to do than they thought. If Brexit were put to a vote today it’d probably fail and fail miserably.
The British people have learned their lesson…kind of like the American people and Trump.

And who was in favor of Brexit? Oh, that’s right, idiot conservatives!

May walked into a no win situation created by voters lacking foresight.

Pootypoo wins another one. Pretty accurate cartoon. Her job is safe, no one else wants it.

The problem is not Brexit.
The 1st problem is that David Cameron behaved as if the referendum would fail and refused to allow the bureaucrats to make plans ahead of time.
The 2nd problem is that May held a snap election last year and got slaughtered. Couldn’t even get a majority.
She walked into the Brexit negotiations with an almost certain failure to accept any deal back home.
