Anyone remember the ad for Accountemps? Bob calls in sick; the boss gets a temp, the temp does such a good job that the boss suggests Bob not return?
I see a little Groucho Marx in Grant in that last panel….
“Oversight” has always made me think “over look”, despite what I know it really means. Why do people choose pompous and often ambiguous speech when simple clarity is better in every discernible way?
