We need a Constitutional amendment that prohibits any state or local jurisdiction from allowing any special tax breaks to billionaires and very wealthy individuals in exchange for selecting them as locations to do business. Let them compete on cultural, social and natural economic conditions, not on “pay to play” corporate welfare and billionaire extortion.
Alternatively, invest in education especially at the voc-tech and community college level. You want our labor pool? Come and get it.
That’s where big cities have it over smaller communities. On the other hand, how much are you willing to pay per square millimeter of floor space in San Francisco or Manhattan?
For reasons, I don’t understand, I can no longer post reviews or questions on Amazon. But they are happy to take my money! When I call to find out, no one knows or cares.
After ‘scamming’ dozens of municipalities across the nation into giving Amazon their demographic data, which Amazon is keeping, by the way, Jeff and his crew chose to “grace” two cities within 10 minutes commutes of one of his private residences with his “new” corporate headquarters.
Just because Jeff and Donnie ‘hate’ each other does not automatically make Jeff our friend!
