Trump: It’s raining. I can’t go outside in this weather. Who would MAGA if I catch a cold? I wonder if my BFF Putin can come over here to play? Being stranded in France is hell on earth. I feel just like a soldier stuck in the trenches.
It was bad enough disrespecting the troops who gave the ultimate sacrifice in France, but when he got back to D.C. he couldn’t even be bothered to go to Arlington and lay a wreath to honor the dead there. What a loser.
GHW Bush bailed out and left his crew to die. W deserted from the Air National Guard, but at least they served, even if poorly. They also learned some humility after that, and they have worked for vets and good causes after leaving office. (Their little wars are still around but at least they only told a couple lies to get us in there, just repeated them.) Trump had bonespurs, lies constantly, has no humility whatsoever, is destroying our relationships with all countries but Russia and North Korea, our best friends, right? Hmmm.
