Yes, let’s all pretend we don’t even know what the House of Representatives even is.

The President just appointed one of his cronies to shut down the Mueller investigation. Nobody is above the law.

I was a bit disappointed by the results, I was hoping that the Democrats would win a couple of more seats in the senate. The results however are a strong repudiation of Trump and his policies. There’s nothing for you to gloat over Lisa. The only reason Republicans took the Senate was that only a third of the senate seats were contested and those were favorable to the Republicans. Full senate elections, had they been held, would have lead to a Democratic victory there as well. A full analysis of the voting nationwide would show that far more people voted for Democrats than for Republicans.

I’m sure Ms. Benson appreciated the news conference held by the deluded orange oaf in the white house yesterday. It made much of what she has drawn and written look poetic. Stand proud Ms. Benson I’m sure he would answer YOUR questions…if he knew who the heck you were.

Lisa, great message as usual. Happy to see the Democrats are in charge of the House. This is the opportunity many were hoping for. Now we can see how professional and effective a different leadership can be. But, be mindful, 4 of the last 5 incumbent presidents were re-elected with a House led by the opposite party.

Republicans did not win a single Senate seat in a Democratic state while Democrats won in Trump won states: Pa,Ohio,Wi,WV,MT and may still win in Arizona and Florida. Republicans winning in Mo,ND and Indiana is not to brag about. Plus Democrats picked up 7 governors including Mi, Il, WI and even Kansas!

Well, I can safely say that nothing will get done in government for the next 2 years. Maybe that’s a good thing.

Well, it’s not like the GOP controlled White House, Senate, and House of Representatives accomplished much in the past two years, is it? Oh wait, the super-rich got permanent tax relief. The rest of us suckers got only temporary “relief.” That counts, doesn’t it?

The House has subpoena power. It has a budget. If our psychopathic “president” wants to fire Mueller, I’m sure Adam Schiff would be happy to hire Mueller and his team to finish the investigation and render a full report to Congress. Seems to me that we will learn of the money laundering, fraud, malfeasance, and VERY likely treason. I doubt trump can stop it. The Justice Department doesn’t even have to be involved. The House can take up the investigation EXACTLY wherever the psychopath tries to end it.

We can only hope our regressives cannot defeat what they refer to as the “deep state” and what I refer to as “the rule of law.” I hope it does not come to that, but Lyin’ Lisa may be surprised to find that respect for the law extends deeply into the hearts and minds of the vast majority of those sworn to uphold it. There are miscreants and bad hombres such as trump and Joe Arpaio, for example, but, my guess is that the entire Justice Department is filled with an army of practical lawyers who will stand up and defend the rule of law. Fire one, another will come to the fore.

The most interesting time will come when the regressive senators have to stand up and defend outright treason. There will be those who will defend treason—make book on it. But I think many (most?) regressive Senators will want to preserve the rule of law. It will be a defining moment for our country.

Will Lyin’ Lisa and all of her band of ignorant misfits overthrow the rule of law? Maybe, but odds are they won’t This will take much of the next two years to oust the madman. My guess is there won’t be a move to impeach until a Mueller report gets to Congress.

Just remember, the psychopath had just started his racist bs about “the caravan” for the election. When it comes to his criminal and treasonous behavior, he will lie, scream, cheat, exaggerate, bully, lie some more, and we will have to undergo the terrible process of removing a treasonous, mentally ill psychopath from office. Sigh.
