She acknowledges her debt and has been paying her taxes for some time. Obviously not presidential material under todays GOP rules.

Still not as bad as voter suppression by the head of the election commission who’s also running for the same office.

But why should Lester care about important thing like that?

What a loathsome, racist cartoon. What a loathsome racist cartoonist.

Lester went on and on and on about “smearing” Bret Kavanaugh. Now he invents out of thin air a claim that Stacey Abrams is a common thief. What puling hypocrisy. Apparently it’s OK to smear a black woman lawyer from a working class family, but rich white preppies with Ivy League family connections must not be criticized.

So live up to your own standards, Lester. You said that allegations against Kavanaugh must be backed up with names, dates, and places. Who has Abrams stolen from, on what dates. in what places? If you can’t do that, retract this crap-filled piece of defamation.

And why doesn’t her opponent, a white multimillionaire, welshing on hundreds of thousands of dollars of his debts bother you, anyway?

    How does Lester know this?

She didn’t release her tax returns, did she?

    .

In LesterLand, owing back taxes certainly disqualifies any of Those People from holding office.

    .

Minor stuff, like disenfranchising Those People, Lester loves officials who do that.

Offended, I haven’t heard about all the confiscated guns.

    How many did she confiscate?

How much do you make off those?

    .

ABRAMS IS COMING TO TAKE YOUR GUNS!

How scared they must be. How about drawing a toon of Kemp backing out of the debate at the last minute and then making a press release that it was Abrams that backed out. Liar cheater and a thief.

The GOP tax bill, that Democrats weren’t even allowed to see, took away your mortgage interest deduction. They took away the deduction you used to get from paying your state and local taxes. But rich trust fund babies no longer have to pay an inheritance tax. They’ve said that corporations are people, and they get to deduct their heating costs, but you don’t. And now Lester would have you believe that it’s Democrats, not Republicans reaching into your pockets.. Typical Republican liar.

Here is the important part of the Snopes article.

“Abrams publicly revealed that she owed a $54,000 debt to the Internal Revenue Service when she released her personal financial disclosure documents in March 2018. But although she is in debt, she is not delinquent in her taxes, as documents show her to be on a payment plan after deferring payments for tax years 2015 and 2016.”

Plus over $170,000 in college loans and credit card debt.

The question you need to ask is why you should vote for a person whose personal finances are a disaster? If she can’t control her spending and got nailed for not paying taxes…you want her in power…why?

So Andy, you’re saying she is in the same boat as every post grad lawyer and doctor in the country due to usurious tuition fees, many of which can take up to 30 years to pay off. By your standard none of these people deserve to hold a job.

This cartoon is a good example as to why Lester’s “Likes” are always so low here on GoComics.com. If you withhold part of the truth you are still lying.

Unfortunately, massive student debt is far too common.

Abrams finances are NOT a “disaster” she is on a repayment plan. She did NOT “get nailed” about her taxes.

It is disgusting how much someone will lie.

Of course she got nailed. How, exactly, did you think she ended up on a repayment plan?

The IRS discovered a failure to pay taxes and notified her that she was open to criminal penalties if she didn’t cough up.

And massive student debt may be common but that doesn’t square with her professional career. She graduated Yale in 1999.

After graduating from law school, Abrams worked as a tax attorney at the Sutherland Asbill & Brennan law firm in Atlanta, with a focus on tax-exempt organizations, health care and public finance. In 2010, while a member of the Georgia General Assembly, Abrams co-founded and served as the senior vice president of NOW Corp. (formerly NOWaccount Network Corporation), a financial services firm.

She co-founded Nourish, Inc., a beverage company with a focus on infants and toddlers, and is CEO of Sage Works, a legal consulting firm, that has represented clients including the Atlanta Dream of the WNBA.

Abrams has published articles on issues of public policy, taxation, and nonprofit organizations. Under the pen name Selena Montgomery, Abrams is the award-winning author of several romantic suspense novels. According to Abrams, she has sold more than 100,000 copies of her novels. Selena Montgomery was the winner of both the Reviewer’s Choice Award and the Reader’s Favorite Award from Romance In Color for Best New Author, and was featured as a Rising Star. Abrams is also the author of Minority Leader: How to Lead from the Outside and Make Real Change published by Henry Holt & Co. in April 2018.

The woman has had almost 20 years to pay off her college debt. She has been continuously employed in positions that generate more than enough income to have at least reduced her debt substantially. If she was a good money manager.

This coming from the Party that elected the bankrupter in chief… who still refuses to release his tax returns… even after he has been accused of tax evasion and fraud… and even after he promised he would release them if he won. MISS ME WITH THE BS!

On a separate note, why is she refusing to denounce the New Black Panther Party endorsement. Not to mention NBPP members parading around in Atlanta with Abrams signs and semi-automatic rifles. Ahem…according to you libs, Assault Rifles.
