Why does he bother to come to the job center at all. Maybe Flo made him.

@Number Three Today’s strip is a repeat, it is funny but it just shows that our Hero Mr Andrew Capp is a lazy drunk git :o) ,like in my avatar I have started using a snuggie blanket when I nap on the sofa but I don’t imitate Linus from Peanuts and use my thumb as a pacifier , because it has gotten colder here in Malta , also it reminds me of Lady Shades who also used a similar blanket , we all miss her, tough luck that your charity work clashed with your paid placement :o{ hope you have a nice day ,today , I have been left alone this morning because Connie has gone with Alex to that super store , take care young Lady , is it cold where you live?

Andy works very hard at NOT working!

He is skilled, actually. He’s not living on the streets or under a bridge. He’s well fed. He drinks all he wants to. Quite skilled indeed, to be able to afford all that and never work for a wage.

In Canada if you do that you go off employment benefits and go on welfare.

I’m not starting work tomorrow after all. The job has been put on hold. I was so close to starting. It wasn’t a placement it was an actual job even though it was only temporary. That’s why I’m so gutted. Today’s strip cheered me up a little though.

Yep. It’s been very cold in my area.

I have some paperbacks from the early days of Andy’s adventure and in one of them, he states he is a sign painter.

I think Reg Smythe once said that he hoped Andy would never get a job or he (Smythe) would be out of one. (Or something like that.)

Andy would not even have the skill set to be a mattress tester.

That’s not true, Andy. You’re very skilled worker at avoiding work.
