It can still be stolen but a crew is needed…and addresses.

So if you want to ride said bike, you have to call all your relatives. Then they have it put it together, then after you finish it, have it taken apart again and taken back with them?

Only way to prevent bike theft in a big city #1-take it apart and carry it with you, reassemble it before riding or #2. Don’t get a bike. Depending on the city, rent and ride a bike or rent and ride an electric scooter.

It will just get stolen once he leaves it outside of a store or a friend’s house.

Yesterday a friend from a local bike shop said he caught some guy with bolt cutters trying to steal a bike from right in front of the store? The attempted thief put the cutters back in his backpack and ran off, leaving his cheap but near-new Walmart “29er” mountain bike behind. I’m the new owner ;-). How’s that for Karma? He went out to steal a bike, and came home with one less than he started with! Wanna buy a bike?
