Uh oh, this has triggered my rant reflex. True key lime pie is wonderful. It’s got a mildly sweet, tangy-sour flavor and light texture. And, it’s supposed to be yellow, not green. What often passes for key lime pie is just ordinary lime pie, sickly sweet and gooey, loaded with thickeners and green food coloring.
