There must be other Saudi princes (King Salman’s other sons ) who would love to replace MbS as the crown prince. The problem for Salman is that if he pushes MbS out now that would be an admission that he was involved in the killing and that would reflect very badly on the royal family. Perhaps it’s time for MbS to meet with an unfortunate accident ? It all depends on if the Saudis succeed in bribing the Turks into silence.
