Like they say. Latin is a dead language because people got tired of summoning demons whenever the discussed the weather.
Try Inuktitut or any other language that uses syllabics. A friend up north picked up a Pitman Shorthand book and couldn’t understand a thing, he didn’t understand the concept that it was a model for cultures without a written language.
Latine legitur, non difficile est, si tu nosti quomodo est, sed est verus, qui in lingua.
Latin rocks! Fauna does not realize how lucky she is to be able to take Latin in grade school!
