A republic is supposed to be built on consent and compromise of all representatives of the people, not just a radical ideological base that will do anything to attain control. In a corporatocracy, things like freedom of speech, net neutrality, work safety, safe food, and water just get in the way of profit.
This SHOULD give Trump a hint to answer his question about why more people don’t emigrate from Norway to U.S. But that would require thinking about something other than himself.
This is not a criminal case, this is a job interview for the highest court in the land, for life. This is not, “did he rape that woman?, did he expose himself?, has he been honest in his testimony?”
This is, “is he the best we have to interpret the Constitution?”
It was for Trump more important how he defended himself than whether he has actually done anything with that woman. That way we can see once again at what level the woman stands for Trump.
