    I read the WaPo account.

She had me leaning towards her being credible right up to this point.

“He (her husband) said he recalled that his wife used Kavanaugh’s last name and voiced concern that Kavanaugh — then a federal judge — might one day be nominated to the Supreme Court.”

This is where the Dems get it wrong so very often. Build the smear gently, make it a little vague. Don’t telegraph such an obvious hook.

I was on the fence as I read her story. It is not at all an uncommon story or a surprising story. Sadly, this sort of behavior is still going on today. In fact, I expect that some sort of incident did occur.

However, the absence of any names in the medical records of her therapy are…convenient. The only recollection of Kavanaugh’s name comes from her husband, not the counselor.

And the crowning tell is the concern that he “might one day be nominated to the Supreme Court.” In 2012 or 2013.

Sorry, but that dog don’t hunt. Set aside your partisan preferences and think it through.

I think we should wait for the election, Andy. Isn’t that the fairest thing to do? Let the people decide. That’s the MConnell rule, right? It’s not up to trump to nominate ANYONE because we have an election coming up, right? Andy? Right?
