Time for Dad to get out the rake and trash bags tomorrow morning (or the lawn mower or the leaf blower). When is the first day of spring in the Southern Hemisphere, by the way?

Our leaves turned colour about 2 weeks ago. The very next day, we got our first snowfall which brought down most of the leaves. For the first time in my memory, the annual Terry Fox Run (on Friday) in our area was held in the snow. It seems that we aren’t really getting autumn here at all.

The joys of country living. Let the leaves fall where they must, and the winter winds will sweep them into the fields by Spring.

We are still in summer with thunder showers. It is now down in the 80’s but it isn’t Autumn just yet for Houston.

“Fall in 1, 2, 3”?? Doesn’t work. The longer you count, the further away it is.
