On March 11, 2016, Senator Orrin Hatch, President Pro Tempore of the United States Senate and the most senior Republican Senator, predicted that President Obama would “name someone the liberal Democratic base wants” even though he “could easily name Merrick Garland, who is a fine man.”

Merrick Garland is a supremely qualified judge. He has no political affiliation, and, unlike Mr. Kavanaugh, has never worked in the White House for a dishonest and humiliated administration.

Newly released emails show that while Kavanaugh was working to move through President George W. Bush’s judicial nominees, Kavanaugh received confidential memos, letters, and talking points of Democratic staffers stolen by GOP Senate aide Manuel Miranda.

Receiving those memos and letters alone is not an impeachable offense.

Kavanaugh should be impeached because he was repeatedly asked under oath as part of his 2004 and 2006 confirmation hearings for his position on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit about whether he had received information stolen from the U.S. Senate, and each time he falsely denied it.

Sen. Orrin Hatch asked him directly if he received “any documents that appeared to you to have been drafted or prepared by Democratic staff members of the Senate Judiciary Committee.” Kavanaugh responded, unequivocally, “No.”

The stolen documents were e-mailed and copies were personally handed directly to Kavanaugh.

Kavanaugh lied.

Under oath.

Repeatedly.

The puppets will insure this guy is given the seat.

It is more like the GOP is slamming the dunk. Kavanaugh is the ball. Who knows what Ramirez is drawing for the Dems? Not that it matters.

A slam dunk – but should he be?

This is criminal. The republicans did not even attempt to play fair. Trump picked this guy because he believes the President is above the law and cannot be indicted or prosecuted. Trump needed that because both should happen. I may never vote for a republican again given their total lack of interest in protecting our democratic institutions.

The question is unanswered Did Kavanaugh commit perjury in his testimony. I know that Ramirez is OK with that as long as the Repubs are the guys breaking the law. The Dems get impeached for perjury about lying about an affair Repubs get confirmed by lying about policy and government oversight.

Senator: Did you have any conversations about Mueller with anyone at the law firm representing Trump?

Kavanaugh: Uh… uh… uh… (pause) uh… uh… who? Who specifically are you referring to?

Kavanaugh: Uh… uh… uh… uh… I’d have to know more about what you’re asking? Can you be more specific?

Kavanaugh: It’s time for lunch. I’ll tell you tomorrow when I think up an answer.

Best advice I can give to all you gnashers, wailers, and Trump haters, is to get you butts to the polls come November and vote. That is the way it works in this country. Who knows your side may do better? Actually it doesn’t matter which side is in power, corporations have run this country since 1970.

So tell me how did the Merrick Garland hearings go? Why wasn’t he confirmed by the Senate? my name is Van Winkle and I slept through his hearings.

Ramirez, there was an interesting story in the news, about how folks with certain names of a certain ethnic origin, born at a certain time, in a certain part of our great nation, are being denied American passports and their citizenship is being called into question. I’d be interested to see your opinion on that issue. And how Mr. Kavanaugh would be likely to rule in a such as case.

What is Ramirez saying? That the Democrats are like oppressed, violated, used women? That it is all right for the Republicans to use people like that?

I find the depiction particularly significant because one of the big concerns is that Kavanaugh will be part of taking away reproductive rights.

So the question of the day is "Do the Dems impeach him? We know that when the Dems take back the White House they will have hundreds of thousands of documents some of which will come from the justice department files. Then we will get to see Kavanugh’s position of the John Yoo Torture memos. The ones he said in sworn testimony he knew nothing about. ……

On a Separate note John Yoo still has a Job He gets paid huge sums of Money for his opinion on Fox News. So Yoo works for Fox news. Judith Miller (planted fake Iraq Intel into her Times stories) works for NewsMax Ollie North works for the NRA. The Right wing finds ways of paying off its lawbreakers.
