Raking up leaves is an unnatural aesthetic. Leaves have been falling on grounds for eons, and it hasn’t bothered Nature. Only a short time ago have humans decided to begin raking leaves, just to impress other humans.
I love the look of fallen leaves in my yard.
On the Golf Course where I work,we turn them into Soil.

Oh yeah, you are ready now. Wait until you are a couple weeks into fall and you can’t keep up with the leaves….couch time!

Or maybe it’s so they can mow their lawns, leaving the mulch where it’s best put to use.
