A pipe dream…Dump’s supporters would take to the barricades to prevent it, Dump himself would create a constitutional crisis by either pardoning himself or refusing to step down, and GOP congress wouldn’t dare alienate their base. Face it, Dump’s like the Ooogie Boogie Man from the movie “The Nightmare Before Christmas;” in Dump’s case, he gobbles down slime and becomes an even bigger pile of slime.
What worries me is that when the Republicans get their collective butts kicked in the Mid-Terms, Il Douchebag MIGHT try to have the election results nullified due to “Outside Interference”! And I would NOT put it past him for a second!!!
Unfortunately the new tenant will be a reactionary religious loon who actually means what he says, except when he was giving a verbal tongue bath to his predecessor.

I have to agree with Hippogriff. The Turd-In-Chief will get voted out in 2020. I’m sure we’ll last that long. If I may, I’ll quote the immortal words of Robert Hunter: " We will get by We will survive " and be thankful that my (real-eat your toupee in jealousy you T-I-C) hair exhibits a touch of grey rather than orange. We must remember to start locally and vote out the Republican dinosaurs everywhere, not just in Washington. Unfortunately, a lot of damage has been done (especially the Supreme Court) and it will take many years to repair all of it. After the Dems (I’m hoping a lot of progressives and not too many corporate whores) take over the federal legislature I’m sure they’ll be able to prevent T-I-C from inflicting more major damage. Unfortunately, I’m also sure that the National Security State will continue to steamroll us, the Saudis will still slaughter Yemeni schoolchildren with American weapons and the longest war in our history will continue in Afghanistan.
