Varvel may be implying that the courts are acting like Don Corleone and his organization in The Godfather, but that’s false and misleading. Varvel may be comparing Trump to the movie mogul. That would be far more correct.

Trump waking up with Manafort and Cohen’s heads in his bed should let him know Mueller means business. But if this was out of the Godfather, Jack Woltz wouldn’t have cast Johnny Fontane, and blamed his horses.
