Trump always stabs those who help in in the back, as the press/media gave him multiple bilions of dollars worth of coverage during the campaign, for FREE, he owes them big time.
And he continues to get all the free publicity he can handle. Like they say ‘any publicity is good publicity’. And the bad stuff is the stuff that his ‘base’ laps up.
Could have been somewhat more effective if each pictured screen had a different tagline. E.g, leave Fox News’ as is, but have CNN’s read “Trump attack against the press has left him despondent and desperate!! Resignation tomorrow!” Oh, no, wait… Cnn’s been running that tagline for almost two years… think anyone will notice?
Over 300 newspapers are running editorials today about Trump’s attacks on the free press, accompanied by a number of editorial cartoons on the same subject. It is important to remember that the road to totalitarianism is paved with suppression of the press.
