Amazing - I say to myself “you don’t appear to have a problem walking” to EVERYONE I see parking in a handicapped spot!

Not everyone who has a disabled badge has difficulty walking, some people have heart problems that don’t show as a walking difficulty, nevertheless they do have a job getting about, unless you’ve had angina or similar you can have no idea of the discomfort it causes.

eno wants to park in handicap zone, he should be handicap.

crush eno legs so that the bones never heal, and then he can park in the handicap parking. QED

If idiocy was a handicap, we’d need a whole lot more spots.

It doesn’t say you can’t be mentally handicapped.

My wife has a disability and it really bothers me when I see someone without a handicap placard parked in the spaces reserved for people with disabilities. I think they should make the fines severe.

FYI, not all disabilities that qualify for a handicap placard are evidenced by an obvious difficulty with walking. Certain back-related problems, for example, or severe breathing issues can be sufficient. That said, I gots no problem with coming down hard on folks who park in a marked handicap spot without the placard or the special license plate.
