You make a good point- if the media didn’t focus so intently on the outliers simply to hike ratings, a buffoon like Tяump could never have been elected.

This certainly isn’t the case if you’ve been listening to NPR today. The hosts and reporters on Morning Edition sounded almost as if they were going to wet their pants in jubilation over the disparity in numbers. I, too, was pleased, but I would’ve thought — what, with them being national broadcasters and all — they’d veil the personal bias with a little more restraint.

What’s really sad is that those “Real ’Muricans” like to march under the flags of two Governments that DECLARED WAR ON THE UNITED STATES…AND LOST!! Don’t they know ANYTHING about history? Or is this just an example of what Trump was talking about when he said that he loved low intelligence voters…LIKE THOSE MORONS??

I like Wueker portraying the guy with the German Helmet and the Nazi symbol on his arm band holding the Star’s n’ Bars as a shield. The Conferderate Battle Flag has quite literally become the Amicans equivilant of the Nazi Swastika.

About media coverage, consider this from Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Thomas Friedman: It turns out that there are thinking Republicans for whom character, decency and truth-telling still matter in a president. It turns out that there are thinking Republicans who have watched Trump’s twitter rants, his disturbed performance at Helsinki and the unrestrained bile that he emits at his rallies — and the blind, ecstatic response of his core base — and found them unnerving and unworthy of their support. That is what the polls and polling stations last night are telling us.Imagine how well President Trump would be doing if he weren’t Donald Trump — if he weren’t such a lying jerk. But that is exactly what he is. So bring on the coverage…….But the whole country needs to see every tweet, every rally, every word and every reaction so that they can ask themselves: “Is this who I want my kids to see as our president? Are these the people with whom I want to be aligned?” ………I still believe that plenty of Americans of all political stripes are better than this president and that when given their next chance to say so, they will. Will there be enough? I don’t know.I just know that the G.O.P. Congress and Fox News are too compromised to ever tell Trump, “Enough.’’ But there are decent Republican moderates who, while they may never pull the lever for a Democrat, just might get too disgusted to vote. It’s the best hope. So let’s keep them fully informed about our president.

What if they held a demonstration and nobody came?

Well, it’s close to what happened. The White Power demonstration last weekend in DC was scheduled to start at 5:30. The 25 or so demonstrators had gathered, demonstrated, and dispersed before the rally was even supposed to start.

White power === flash in the pan.

^ Yes, the ENTIRE left wing supports the violence of Antifa. No nuances here.
