Our current policy of post-mortem thoughts and prayers does not seem to be decreasing the threat of random shootings. It is unfortunate that our Congress to too busy with hyperpartisan issues to collaborate/compromise with all its members to draft legislation that protects the rights of both gun owners and people in public places.
