I can’t wait for Apple to build the real HAL 9000! Oh, wait, yes I can.

I don’t seem to have helped them get there. I own nothing of theirs.

Got my first Mac in 1985, including the original LaserWriter. Have only had Macs since. Got the iPhone. Got the iPod. Got the iPad. Make no excuses for abuses of consumers and workers by Apple, but they make damn good products.

Steve Jobs made Apple great. Then the board hired John Sculley from Pepsi-Cola, nudged Jobs out, and the company tanked to the brink of bankruptcy with stock selling for pennies. (Wish I’d bought stock in 1997.)

So they gave up, gave Apple back to Jobs, and his innovation put it on track to become the trillion dollar success it is today. It is all Steve Jobs.

No apologies for appreciating Steve Jobs’ incredible innovation.

No excuses for condemning his abuse of workers or consumers.

That is how it works. When you steal from your fans, they like it.

I wonder what the count is of people walking into things while their face is stuck to an Apple product

Who says you can’t make money selling overpriced goods.

The last Apple product I’ve owned was an Apple II+ computer. I have nothing against their products or the company. It just worked out that way.

Not because of me…..
