Mittens is a smart kitty. I am sure he will be able to figure out how to turn the water off (but then again if he considers this his new and improved, one of a kind, extra fancy water fountain…he just may not want to)

Aw, c’mon, Angie. You know very well that’s the fancy fountain. Kitties across the world agree.

The Venerable Boris (RIP) used to leap to the bathroom sink as I was brushing my teeth and drink as if he was thirsty, so I got him a fountain so he could enjoy running water whenever he wanted it. He loved the fountain, and ever after only joined me at the bathroom counter for a little “social drinking.”

Kitchen sinks usually have a stopper/strainer. It is a really fancy fountain when it flows over the counter to the floor.

Dear Ms. Angie: Why would you want to turn off the kitchen? That’s not good for refrigerated items! :-)
