One night I heard a sound like a garbage truck operating. We went out to see what it was. A pickup had rolled end over end down the highway shoulder before stopping nearby. We looked inside and realized the truck was empty; the driver was gone. I lined up the last two contact points and continued in the direction of motion until I came upon his body.

    Suggestion: Wear seat belts.

If you want to know a person’s life and secrets, steal his trash cans and recycling bins.

Better dumping the recycling bin make that kind of racket than the garbage bin.

CIDU. Hard to see the gag in this one. Is Janis wondering if they use too much recyclable stuff or just too much stuff? Is she implying that they are one of the few recyclers and the truck is noisy because it’s empty?

When I got out of CB repair business all the radios went into the dumpster. We were first pickup and the sound of all that metal in the empty truck must have scared the driver, woke me up.

Hey, JimmyJ. Why couldn’t you make Janis’ eyes white in panels 2 & 4? Doesn’t seem that hard.

Oh yes, I love the sound of a week’s worth of dead soldiers clinking together when the trash is emptied.
