Actually, looks like Comrade TRUMPski decided to impose steep tariffs (a non-conservative myth he has subscribed to for years) and all of a sudden, surprise! surprise! the rest of the world struck back. And they are not as stupid as the ill-prepared novice. They aimed their retaliation squarely at the products and states that would hit TRUMP voters the hardest.

First Comrade TRUMPski decides to try very non-conservative WELFARE/bailouts, and that trial balloon pops quickly. So finally Comrade TRUMPski has to put his tail between his legs and beat a hasty retreat. So Trump completely folds, and his little exercise got him NOTHING.

“EU blinks”? More like, “TRUMP CAVES.”

So, a couple of thugs go into a guy’s store, makes some threats, breaks some stuff and leave. A week later, the store owner sees the error in his belief that his business is his business and bows to the thugs wishes. The town goes wild because the thugs were able to save his livelihood.

Trump claims the EU will be buying “so many soybeans” from the US. However, 80% of the US soybeans are GMO and most of the EU countries have an aversion to GMO. Trump announced that the US and EU will work towards no tariffs and no subsidies – US subsidies were never considered when Trump was whining about the “unfair” tariffs. For example, US farmers dumped subsidized corn in Mexico which caused many Mexican farmers to lose their farms.

Trump didn’t know the US has a trade SURPLUS with Canada until after he threatened Trudeau with massive tariffs.

Trump caused a massive problem and working with the EU allows him to change his stupid policy with some cover, at least from his followers like Kelley.

Let’s see how the agreement with the EU really works out. The “blink” is from Trump because he really doesn’t know anything about most topics, including trade.

It’s a toss-up whether Kelley’s grasp of politics or the world’s economy is poorer! Beyond that, Kelley is probably impressed that #45 paid ONLY $25 million to settle the fraud lawsuit against Trump University!

So funny to watch the left flounder. Face it kids, he just ate your chips. Don’t touch the sandwich because he’s gonna eat that next.

Canada is still cranky but Mexico is at the table working hard on a NAFTA type re-draft. The EU came to the table for the first time since it was created, ready to back off 25 years punitive tariffs.

Trump will eat your lunch and has dibs on your dinner too.

Old Wall Street motto…. “Bears make money, Bulls make money…Sheep get sheered.” That said you should always put as much money as you can afford (which is more then you think you can) into stocks, or stock funds. Over your lifetime it will earn you more money then any other investment. Just remember the “Hitchhikers” motto, “DON’T PANIC!”
