Someone please remind Payne that we are in this mess because Comey told congress ( in secret?) that he was going to re-open the Clinton investigation In essence handing the election to Trump. I suppose the FBI was above board until the first week of November. After that is became a Dem stronghold

Actually, Publicans have long had a strained relationship with the truth, by way of a weakness for self-serving fantasies. Compare what the Publicans say, longingly, about the Golden Age of Reagan with what actually happened in those days with regard to taxes, revenue, national debt (it tripled), economic growth (very so-so, and not just by comparison to the Clinton years), and the rest. This Publican weakness for “alternative facts” (a telling Publican coinage) makes it hard to have a reasoned conversation with them.

It is amazing how often the Right will parrot the fiction of the FBI being in the tank for Clinton, but will ignore James Comey personally kneecapping HRC’s campaign. This kind of defiance of recorded fact would make George Orwell proud (or nauseous).
