I learned of hotdish in Alaska. There are a lot of people from Minnesota that practice hotdish. And they say boat and boot kind of funny. I don’t know why there is a cultural subgroup in southeast Alaska. I also learned about apple and onion pizza, and eating fancy pears with parmesan cheese at Christmas from the same people.
