Thailand was able to reunite children with their parents in seven days. Trump ILLEGALLY (by U.S. and international treaties to which the U.S. is signatory) separated INTACT families that had arrived together. At that point, they had the legal and moral obligation to keep track of the children. UPS can track packages; airlines can track baggage. Why can’t this supposedly brilliant businessman, with all the technology available today, just keep track of parents and children?
A federal judge (a Republican appointee) ORDERED children under five reunited with parents by July 10. Now that date has passed. The federal government, which committed the initial illegal act, has now failed to comply with a court order.
The judge has a duty to declare the head of ICE and the head of Homeland Security in CONTEMPT OF COURT and jailed (preferably in small cages — or as Laura Ingraham on Faux “News” calls them, “summer camps”) until all 104 known toddlers of “tender age” are reunited with their family.
Immigrant children as young as one year old are being denied the right to counsel. In some cases, immigrant rights groups are raising money for lawyers, but they have only been able to serve about 10% of CHILDREN AND BABIES who are APPEARING IN COURT WITHOUT LEGAL COUNSEL.

Trump and his supporters are self-declared to be anti-establishment, xenophobic nationalists who feel that their inability to accomplish their goals is because of immigrants, our allies, and excessive regulations. Somehow, they feel this extends to refugees and their children, and nations that have had our back since our founding. Clean air and water, work and food safety are just preventing the mega-corporations from hiring, in their vision. We shall see if they’re right.
