David Clark and you both don’t seem to understand that our government was designed to be difficult to get legislation passed.
Prescott_Philosopher is factually correct and Pillsbury’s attitude is understandable and defensible.
I’d take stalemate right about now…
I like it when the government can’t move. It means that the checks and balances work.

Legislative stalemates are short-lived; the Lobbiests get things done one way or the other, especially while we’re distracted: Court or Executive orders, Riders on unrelated Bills etc.
