Wow, what a mishmash. Bush was not president in 1997, Clinton was. There was no law in 1997, it was the Flores v Reno settlement (as JS notes further down in the comment).

This must be stopped. Our Republican representatives are morally too weak to oppose him. No matter your political leanings, if you are an American patriot, with a conscience, you must vote in November, and you must vote for the Democrat. No nonsense about voting a third party that represents one’s beliefs, or protest voting for Reagan, or Lincoln or Ike. It’s too important.
