Carol Lay is a wonderful find. I like her sardonic and dark sense of humor. She can really write and illustrate those cartoons that reach into your very soul. No joking here. Her work reminds me of Rod Serling in the late 1950’s-1960’s for his Twilight Zone.

Amen on the “Life is messy.” observation! I believe the late Gilda Radner’s alter ego used to say, “It’s always something!” Damn straight, ladies!

I wish this strip had a larger audience (and a correspondingly larger pool of Patreon supporters). It is so worthy.
