What gets me is how “the Doomsday Clock” gets headline media attention, even after all these years. It’s just an expression that, “hey, things are getting a little tense/relaxed”. Your local supermarket rag’s astrology column is about as scientific, and probably at least as good a forecaster of the future to boot..
