Yeah! Exercise your freedom! (Like Annie never let you nap?)

Margie, my sweet, dear little cat, has made her way across the Rainbow Bridge.

Yesterday evening, May 23, I had to let her go. She was the last cat of the four siblings who came to me on May 13th 1999 when they were only two weeks old (her brother Johnny died in 2007, her sister Paulinchen in 2010, her brother Blitzi in 2015). I think she loved to be together with me and in her life she would never have gone on a travel to leave me like Lily and Chesney are doing now.

I miss her so much! I am so sad and feel so lonely.

Good morning and happy Thursday/Purrsday, Graham Crackers! We find out on Friday when Paul starts his radiation and chemo treatments.

I’m so bummed right now! Last night, as I was driving home from the grocery store, a deer ran into the side of my car. It shattered the driver’s side window and put a huge dent in the door. I also have a few scratches in the back door, the front fender is dented and the cover over the headlight is broken. Now I have to go through all the mess of contacting my insurance agency, probably need to get 2 or 3 estimates and who knows how long it will take to get it fixed? I just got together enough money so I started calling roofers to get an estimate on fixing my roof. I’m sure I haven’t saved enough money to fix the roof, but I wanted a certain amount of money saved so I wouldn’t have to borrow too much. I don’t know offhand how much my deductible is, but whatever it is, it’s another expense that I just don’t need right now.

    News about the birds:

    https://www.earthcam.com/usa/massachusetts/boston/falcon/?cam=boston_falcon

When I tuned in to watch this noon, the whole nest was empty! A check of the history showed a white haired gentleman had opened the mirrored right hand door. As I watched the live feed, he returned each chick from a cloth bag. They are starting to lose some of the white downy feathers with some grey showing. I could see a new metal band on the leg of the last one he released. Mama did not seem too pleased as I could see her beak opening a lot (I don’t remember how I disabled the sound [due to past annoying commercials] so I can’t undo that), but she stayed outside on the stick.

The guy had a video camera with a microphone and he spent a lot of time watching them up close.
