I’ve used the same Swing-A-Way wall-mounted manually operated can opener for probably 30 years. Got tired of the electric ones (gifts) always breaking down. That beauty opens every can, every time, with little or no fuss or muss. It will take as many cans as you want to feed it and just keep going. Easy to clean, too.
Back in the sixties, we would combine as many C-ration meals as we had… dumped into a steel helmet and warmed over a fire until hot. The food still kind of sucked, but we had some great smelling helmets at times. :>)
