Now you’ve ruined the new Solo movie – all I’ll be thinking about is the story about how a privileged little rich boy became the detested Don Solo “leader of the Free World” – determined to shrink that world back to the shrunken and desiccated remnants of Nationalistic borders.
Anti-man, Trump was name-calling and acting like a spoiled toddler. Saying that Trump tried is ridiculous. All he did was provoke Kim to test nukes faster. The nuclear test accident that collapsed a mountain and cause China to slap on additional sanctions was the catalyst to get Kim to think about negotiations. But Kim realized that US and SK have been increasing military exercises and they won’t let him keep nukes so now the meetings are cancelled.
Trump continues to display phenomenal incompetence. He did everything upside down and backwards, and now it’s falling apart. Even if they do meet, what will come of it?
Simple and fun, but the American people deserve better. It is a fun side story, but lacks the depth and epic feel of the Obama presidency. Don Solo is like Disney’s Aladdin, a smug man with big dreams, he fights to get the porn stars, and gets access to a sweet ride like Air Force One, and he still maintains a happy-go-lucky attitude amid tough circumstances he brought on himself. He hungers to define himself as the president he wishes he was. He’s full of moxie, spending more time telling people he’s an amazing president than proving it. All his bravado and arrogance makes for good laughs, but it’s also clear, he’s no leader.
The only similarity between Don and Han is that he got his ship from a black guy.
